For the Record

It’s a large-scale, free, community-wide event at the Davis Street Arts and Academics Magnet School in New Haven, open to children and their families.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be food, information tables, crafts, music, costumed characters, and readings and book-signings by authors and illustrators of children’s books.

The purpose of the festival is to provide an opportunity for children from birth to age 12 and their families to connect with authors and illustrators in a fun setting while celebrating the importance of reading and literacy.
