All Aboard the Bookmobile!
Read to Grow’s Bookmobile, our literacy resource on wheels, hit the road in September 2022 and has been bringing the joy of reading to children across Connecticut ever since.
More than just a mobile library, the Bookmobile creates an engaging, interactive space where children can choose a book to keep, relax on our cozy benches, or gather on our big, comfy rug for a read-aloud. While our programming is primarily designed for children ages 0–7, we occasionally accommodate visits for older children based on specific requests and community needs.

The Bookmobile is available to travel to any county or community in Connecticut, with a special focus on under-resourced areas. Our goal is to make books and literacy experiences accessible to all children, no matter where they live.
